This service is for parents who have specific
concerns regarding their child's behavior (e.g., tantrums, aggressiveness,
potty training). All interventions are preceded by a two-part evaluation
(2 separate days). Part I requires the caregiver(s) and child to
be present and focuses on a child-specific assessment and parent
interview with a goal of identifying and prioritizing the problem
behaviors and charting those behaviors. Part II requires only the
caregiver(s) to be present and focuses on clarifying the frequency,
duration, and severity of the problem behaviors and developing a
tentative behavior plan based on a functional analysis of the behaviors.
Caregivers will receive a written report of this evaluation. Interventions
that can be received after the evaluation are family, individual,
or group. Interventions focus on helping the family and child to
implement the behavior plan created in the evaluation.
