Overview
As individuals with autism spectum disorders
grow up they face their own set of challenges. There are a wide
range of outcomes. Some adults with autism achieve college degrees
and function independently. Others
require more assistance to obtain and keep employment. Whatever
the individual differences are, age does not take away a need for
support. Adults have a desire to use their abilities and realize
their dreams. The STAR program is continuing to develop services
and resources for adults.
