The Collaborative Model for Promoting Competence
and Success (COMPASS) is a process designed to assess and identify
personal and environmental strengths and weaknesses using input
from parents, families, teachers, service providers, and direct
child interactions. Based on recommendations from the COMPASS
evaluation, individualized goals are developed.
