Outreach Consultation and Training

Services for Providers

STAR is an intervention program for individuals with autism spectrum disorders (ASDs) (Adobe PDF) and their families. Recognizing the need for a larger number of skilled service providers for both adults and children, STAR offers expanded consultative services across Kentucky.

The goal of STAR is to improve the outcomes of individuals with ASDs. Based on a collaborative model, individual-specific treatment plans are developed. By improving the skills of direct service providers, through collaboration, we believe outcomes will improve.

Mission of STAR's Consultative Program

To improve outcomes of persons with ASDs by increasing the competency of service providers across the state

To develop a network of service professionals with specialized knowledge of autism and related disorders who can provide local and regional support
